Édouard de Weck
Édouard de Weck holds a Master of Science in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford. He currently is a trainee in our firm.
Édouard de Weck graduated from the University of Oxford where he obtained his master’s degree in law and finance. Prior to that, Édouard obtained a bilingual master’s degree in law from the University of Fribourg, magna cum laude, and a degree in physics from ETH, Zurich and the National University of Singapore.
While studying in Fribourg, he wrote his master’s thesis on the duty of care of physicians, as well as pieces on the European monetary union, on international banking regulation and on stock exchange offences and market abuse.
Before joining our team in September 2017, Édouard has been working for leading Swiss banking groups in Zurich and in Geneva. He has also been working for the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, in Berne, where he specialised in insider trading, and as a teaching assistant for contracts & torts at the University of Fribourg.
