Maxime graduated from the University of Fribourg in 2023, where he obtained a bilingual Bachelor of Laws (French – German) and a Master of Laws. He then successfully completed the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions in 2023.

He has previously represented the University of Fribourg in the René Cassin European Human Rights Competition. His team finished tenth out of 40, and Maxime was awarded the prize for the best oral defense delivery.

Alongside his studies, Maxime has always been committed to student politics and community organizing. After three years on the executive board of the University of Fribourg Law Students’ Association, which he presided over during the third year of his bachelor studies , he was elected to the board of the Swiss Students’ Union in Bern. He later served as chairman of the Union from June 2022 to July 2023.

In his spare time, Maxime enjoys ski touring and playing floorball at a competition level.
