Sara Dousset

Sara Dousset is a member of the Geneva Bar Association. Her main practice areas are Healthcare & Life Science, Employment Law and Data Protection. She is recommended by Legal 500.

Sara Dousset is a senior associate in the Dispute resolution and Pharmaceutical & Healthcare teams and has experience in a wide range of matters, including general commercial disputes, and disputes in health sector. She regularly represents domestic and international clients before courts and arbitration tribunals.

Sara also gives advice to companies in pharmaceutical, data protection and employment matters. She regularly assists both Swiss and foreign companies in reviewing or drafting contracts and regulatory documents in those sectors.

Sara is also currently pursuing a Master of Advanced Studies in Health Law at the University of Neuchâtel’s Health Law Institute which includes a module CAS in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnological Law (passed in June 2017), a module CAS in Patient Rights and Public Health (passed in February 2018) and a module CAS in Social Insurance, Employment and Health Law (passed in January 2019).

Before joining the team, Sara completed her internship and practiced Law as an associate at CMS von Erlach Poncet. She was admitted to the Geneva Bar in October 2012.

Sara holds a LL.M. from McGill University, Canada. She graduated from the University of Fribourg where she obtained her master’s degree, magna cum laude, specialising in European and International Law with a bilingual mention. During her master program, she spent a year as an exchange student at Vienna University.

Before joining MANGEAT, Sara was an associate in the International Arbitration and Litigation team at Eversheds in Geneva.
