Sara Follonier

Sara Follonier is an associate at MANGEAT. Her main practice areas are Dispute Resolution in Criminal matters and Juvenile Criminal Law. She also advises clients on Child and adult Protection Law and defends medical professionals facing criminal proceedings arising from their practice.

Sara holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master in civil and criminal law from the University of Geneva. She also completed the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Legal Professions in 2023 and successfully passed the Geneva Bar exam in 2025.

Sara has a strong interest in criminal law, especially juvenile criminal law, whose fundamental principles are the protection and education of children. In 2024, she founded an association that offers weekly reading programs in a juvenile detention center (La Clairière). She is also a member of the Swiss League for Human Rights (LSDH).

In both her legal practice and her personal commitments, she attaches particular importance to the rights of incarcerated individuals.
